Game Day 9/7

Back on 9/7 we had a good 10 hour long game day. a local gaming group titled The Cardboard League who usually meets at the Dragon’s Lair (a local game shop in fort Myers) were up against a a bit of a challenge. There was a card game tournament scheduled at the Dragon’s Lair during their normal meeting time. They were not being shuffled out of the DL by any means, but the environment was less than convenient for them that night.

With this in mind, I offered up my office as a venue. It was a near perfect space for a game day with its large conference room and private spaces being available. Since there were no time restrictions, like at the church, I was able to open the space early. On top of that, Setup was a breeze since the space was less mobile in nature. There were a ton of games played and we had a blast.

These are just the pics I remembered to take. There was a lot more fun being had.

Regardless, the whole thing got me thinking about moving my regular gaming venue to the office on a regular basis. its quite a bit more convenient for some of the Cardboard League members travel wise, and set up is so much easier.
