Recently, I hosted a Game night at the D&B Logistics where I work. I realized the office is a near perfect venue. There is minimal set up compared to the church; I am able to offer paid childcare; and the D&B offices are available all day on Saturday. Speaking with the owner of D&B recently he is amenable to us meeting there on a monthly basis. There are, however a few ground rules the owner would like us to observe:
- If you come across a closed door do not open or enter it.
- Do not leave a mess behind
- If a mess is unavoidable, advise the event host immediatly
- All internet connections need to be WIFI only. We are not to physically jack in to the network
- The guest WIFI will be used at all times. I will post the SSID and password on-site
I’ve updated the calendar in the events page and will be discussing the venue’s rules with my contact at D&B, but I don’t anticipate anything complicated.
