Phoenix Games actually had its start in 2006 as Juggernaut Games, LLC, with the hopes that bringing gamers together for gaming events would lead to more adequate gaming spaces and growth into a standalone FLGS through game sales. This initial vision was fueled by a passion for the gaming community and the belief that interactive experiences would foster connections and camaraderie among players. Unfortunately, prevailing market conditions made this impossible, as the competitive landscape was riddled with challenges that stifled new ventures. With rising operational costs and a shifting consumer base, Juggernaut Games ultimately struggled to maintain its footing, leading to its untimely failure. The lessons learned from this experience, however, would pave the way for future endeavors in the world of gaming.

Juggernaut has since “risen from the ashes” as Phoenix Games. These days, we are not concentrating solely on game sales but rather on enhancing the fellowship experience that board gaming provides. Our focus is on creating an inclusive atmosphere where players can gather, share stories, and forge lasting friendships. At best, you can consider us a consultation group centered around designer board gaming, where we guide enthusiasts through curated experiences, offer valuable insights, and promote innovative game designs that elevate the joy of play. We believe that every game session can be a platform for connection, collaboration, and creativity, allowing players to immerse themselves in fantastic worlds while strengthening their community ties.

To that end, we host a group meeting once a month at D&B Logistics in Fort Myers, providing a welcoming environment for gamers of all ages and skill levels. Currently, we meet on the second Saturday of each month and feature several gaming opportunities, allowing participants to explore various genres from board games to card games.. Along with our friendly hosts who are more than happy to teach and lead games, we also encourage attendees to bring their own favorite games to share with the group, fostering a spirit of camaraderie and exploration among all participants. Whether you’re a seasoned strategist or a casual player looking to have some fun, our monthly gathering is the perfect place to connect, learn, and enjoy the thrill of gaming in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
